How do I return an item?

Please call or e-mail us and we will let you know our procedure. You will need to get a returns number from us and then send the item to:

Please be aware of the following if you are returning an item (some of these points only apply to online orders):

  • We cannot accept returns of shoes or slippers that have been worn outside
  • Items cannot be returned without the original packaging
  • We cannot accept returns of items that have been custom made
  • We cannot accept returns of commodes, bedpans, urinals or any other item that involves disposal of bodily fluids
  • We do not accept returns of incontinence pads even if unopened
  • We will only cover the cost of your return if the item is faulty
  • We only accept returns within 7 days of you receiving the order

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

If you bought the tem in one of our shops, it needs to be returned to that shop with the receipt and the original packaging


Do you sell internationally?

No, we only sell within the UK.  If you need to order from overseas you would need friends or family within the UK who could order it for you and forward the item on.

Do you buy back mobility scooters?

We will take your old mobility scooter as a trade in but we always advise you that you will get far more for it if you sell it privately. As a reputable business, we would have to service the scooter, put new batteries onto it and offer a warranty. We advise putting your scooter in the Derbyshire Times. If the scooter is not saleable, we may offer you scrap value as part of a trade in.

What are your opening hours

Our Chesterfield shop is open from 9 – 5pm Monday to Friday. Saturdays by appointment only. Ring to make an appointment

Do you have many rise and recline chairs in stock

We have a wide range in stock in different sizes and colours. Available from stock or to order. We stock Sherborne chairs which can be made in a size and colour of your choice. Delivered within 3 weeks. Some chairs are available from stock.

Do you stock cosyfeet shoes and slippers?

We stock a wide range of cosyfeet wide fitting shoes and slippers. If you need a size or style that we don´t have in stock, we will order it in for you with no obligation to buy if it is not right for you.

Where is your shop?

We are on Chatsworth Road opposite the Wheatbridge Medical Centre. We are next to Greggs and Majestic Wine Warehouse. You can park right outside the door and there is level access into the shop with electric doors. Wheelchairs are available if you need help into the shop

Do you hire out wheelchairs?

No. I am sorry we do not hire out wheelchairs

Do you hire out mobility scooters?

No I am sorry that we do not hire out mobility scooters. There is a charity in Chesterfield that do hire them out. Please ring for details.
